Linxon has secured a position on the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) framework agreements for turnkey delivery of high voltage and extra high voltage substations and associated systems in Scotland to support current and future project demand within the SSEN Transmission projects portfolio in the United Kingdom.

We have recently executed Framework Agreements for FW Construction Transmission Substation GIS2 Multi-Site 0325 and FW Transmission Substation Construction Multi-Site 0326 to provide design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of high voltage and extra high voltage Gas Insulated (GIS) substations and Air Insulated (AIS) substation works respectively along with associated systems in Scotland to support current and future project demand within SSEN Transmission.

SSEN Transmission intend to apply a Delivery Partner Model which aims to promote long-term collaborative working with the supply chain in order to provide the most efficient solution to the Great Britain consumer and support the delivery of the SSEN Transmission RIIO T2 Business Plan commitments. This model explores longer commitment of projects, working with the supply chain to achieve cost certainty, Early Contractor involvement (ECI), Key Performance Indicators and Synergy Reviews. The DPM Framework will be an NEC3 based framework contract.
